Thank you. Thank you, my friends. Thank you for coming here on this beautiful Arizona evening.

(APPLAUSE)

My friends, we have -- we have come to the end of a long journey. The American people have spoken, and they have spoken clearly.

A little while ago, I had the honor of calling Senator Barack Obama to congratulate him.

(BOOING)

Please.

To congratulate him on being elected the next president of the country that we both love.

In a contest as long and difficult as this campaign has been, his success alone commands my respect for his ability and perseverance. But that he managed to do so by inspiring the hopes of so many millions of Americans who had once wrongly believed that they had little at stake or little influence in the election of an American president is something I deeply admire and commend him for achieving.

This is an historic election, and I recognize the special significance it has for African-Americans and for the special pride that must be theirs tonight.

I've always believed that America offers opportunities to all who have the industry and will to seize it. Senator Obama believes that, too.

But we both recognize that, though we have come a long way from the old injustices that once stained our nation's reputation and denied some Americans the full blessings of American citizenship, the memory of them still had the power to wound.

A century ago, President Theodore Roosevelt's invitation of Booker T. Washington to dine at the White House was taken as an outrage in many quarters.

MCCAIN: America today is a world away from the cruel and frightful bigotry of that time. There is no better evidence of this than the election of an African-American to the presidency of the United States.

Let there be no reason now...

(APPLAUSE)

Let there be no reason now for any American to fail to cherish their citizenship in this, the greatest nation on Earth.

(APPLAUSE)

Senator Obama has achieved a great thing for himself and for his country. I applaud him for it, and offer him my sincere sympathy that his beloved grandmother did not live to see this day. Though our faith assures us she is at rest in the presence of her creator and so very proud of the good man she helped raise.

Senator Obama and I have had and argued our differences, and he has prevailed. No doubt many of those differences remain.

These are difficult times for our country. And I pledge to him tonight to do all in my power to help him lead us through the many challenges we face.

I urge all Americans...

(APPLAUSE)

I urge all Americans who supported me to join me in not just congratulating him, but offering our next president our good will and earnest effort to find ways to come together to find the necessary compromises to bridge our differences and help restore our prosperity, defend our security in a dangerous world, and leave our children and grandchildren a stronger, better country than we inherited.

Whatever our differences, we are fellow Americans. And please believe me when I say no association has ever meant more to me than that.

(APPLAUSE)

MCCAIN: It is natural. It's natural, tonight, to feel some disappointment. But tomorrow, we must move beyond it and work together to get our country moving again.

We fought -- we fought as hard as we could. And though we feel short, the failure is mine, not yours.

We can all look forward with great interest to her future service to Alaska, the Republican Party and our country.

To all my campaign comrades, from Rick Davis and Steve Schmidt and Mark Salter, to every last volunteer who fought so hard and valiantly, month after month, in what at times seemed to be the most challenged campaign in modern times, thank you so much. A lost election will never mean more to me than the privilege of your faith and friendship.

I don't know -- I don't know what more we could have done to try to win this election. I'll leave that to others to determine. Every candidate makes mistakes, and I'm sure I made my share of them. But I won't spend a moment of the future regretting what might have been.

This campaign was and will remain the great honor of my life, and my heart is filled with nothing but gratitude for the experience and to the American people for giving me a fair hearing before deciding that Senator Obama and my old friend Senator Joe Biden should have the honor of leading us for the next four years.

(BOOING) Please. Please.

I would not -- I would not be an American worthy of the name should I regret a fate that has allowed me the extraordinary privilege of serving this country for a half a century.

MCCAIN: Today, I was a candidate for the highest office in the country I love so much. And tonight, I remain her servant. That is blessing enough for anyone, and I thank the people of Arizona for it.

MCCAIN: Tonight -- tonight, more than any night, I hold in my heart nothing but love for this country and for all its citizens, whether they supported me or Senator Obama -- whether they supported me or Senator Obama.

I wish Godspeed to the man who was my former opponent and will be my president. And I call on all Americans, as I have often in this campaign, to not despair of our present difficulties, but to believe, always, in the promise and greatness of America, because nothing is inevitable here.

Americans never quit. We never surrender.

报 税

中美两国政府一九八四年四月三十日在北京签定的“中华人民共和国和美利坚合众国政府关于对所得避免双重征税和防止偷漏税的协定”于一九八六年十一月二十一日正式实行。
　　该协定的第十九条、二十条涉及我留美人员享受免税待遇的问题，我留学人员可据此向美税务部门申请免除联邦所得税。中国税务部门目前不对我留学人员在美收入征税。下面对我留学人员在美国的纳税、免税作一简单介绍：

一、税的种类
　　我国留学人员一般只与下列四种税有关（凡是没有从美国政府取得任何收入的人员，如国家公派留学人员，就不必纳税）。
　　1、FICA税，此项是联邦退休基金，全称是FEDERAL INSURANCE CONTRIBUTION ACT, 占收入的 7%，持Ｊ－１和Ｆ－１签证者不必交纳。如第一次被扣除了，可持护照去学校的留学生办公室或人事部门办理免扣手续。
　　2、 联邦税，这是比例最高的一项税，按收入多少不等，留学生约占11%-15% ，由于中美两国有避免双重征税的协定，留学人员可以全免或部分免交。
　　3、 州税，各州税率税法不一，以宾州为例，年收入在四千五百元以下者免交，五千四百元以上者交2%二者之间的则按收入多少定不同的比例。免税协定对州税不适用，但有些收入如奖学金（SCHOLARSHIP, FELLOWSHIP）仍是免税的，但要到系主任那里开证明。
　　4、 地方税，其税率税法更是各地不一，以宾州州立大学所在地STATE COLLEGE为例，是在当地所得收入的1.8%，但外国人只需交0.5%。每次都从收入中预扣1.8%，到次年春季填表报税时再持护照去当地税务部门要 回1.3%。

二、联邦税免税问题
　　中美两国的避免双重征税的协定自一九八七年起生效，与留学人员有关的是第十九条、第二十条。在美时间不超过三年的访问学者、客座教授，从事教学与科研 的收入不必交税（仅指联邦税，下同），第二十条指出，留学人员的收入若系奖学金则不必交税；若属于个人劳务所得，可从总收入中除去5000元再计联邦税。 至于当TA、RA的收入属于那一种，可在报税时询问当地税务部门，以他们的回答为准。

三、避免扣除
　　如果不作声明，留学生每月的收入中税都会被自动扣除，尽管有很大一部分是不必交的。到第二年夏天退回给你时已损失不少利息。要想避免这种损失，可申请免扣（EXEMPTION)。FICA只要去申请一次，地方税不可以免扣。
　　关于联邦税，可向系办公室索取Ｗ-4及Ｗ-4Ｅ卡片，每年二月二十五日前填好交上，即可免扣。

四、填表报税
　　每年春季留学人员都会收到报税表，让你计算自己一年应交的税，多退少补。填表时可向老同学和留学生办公室咨询。每年截止报税的时间是四月十五日，如不 交不退或需补交税的，在此日期前寄出就可；要是准备退税的，则越早寄出报税表，越早得到退款。

五、中美两国避免双重征税的协定中有关留学人员免税的条款：

ARTICLE 19

An individual who is, or immediately before visiting a Contracting State was, a resident of the other Contracting State and is temporarily present in the first-mentioned Contracting State for the primary purpose of teaching, giving lectures or conducting research at a university, college, school or other accredited educational institution or scientific research institution in the first-mentioned Contracting State shall be exempt from tax in the first-mentioned Contracting State for a period not exceeding three years in the aggregate in respect of remuneration for such teaching, lectures or research.

ARTICLE 20

A student, business apprentice or trainee who is or was immediately before visiting a Contracting State, a resident of the other Contracting State and who is present in the first-mentioned Constracting State solely for the purpose of his education, training or obtaining special technical experience shall be exempt from tax in that Contracting State with respect to:

(a) payments received from abroad for the purpose of his maintenance, education, study, research or training;

(b) grants or awards from a government, scientific, educational or other tax-exempt organization; and

(c) income from personal services performed in that Contracting State in an amount not in excess of 5,000 United States dollars or its equivalent in Chinese yuan for any taxable year.

The benefits provided under this Article shall extend only for such period of time as is reasonably necessary to complete the education or training.

詳細的WinXP安裝流程

原本站長沒打算花時間撰寫詳細的WinXP安裝流程，但測試WinVista之後深深「懷念」起WinXP的簡潔與高速，但面對Santa Rosa平台諸多的驅動程式，相信許多人都會有「該如何安裝」之感。故站長將R61及X61s的安裝流程親自執行一次，並逐項詳實記錄下來。

ThinkPad T61/R61/X61-Series硬體架構相當接近，原廠甚至宣稱Image檔可共用，此篇安裝流程理論上可以適用在ThinkPad T61/R61/X61-Series上面，記得再根據個別機種的硬體安裝對應驅動程式。

由於微軟的許多元件都需線上下載，無法直接下載完整版本，因此站長才會視需要，將網路卡的驅動程式安裝程序放在前面。此外ThinkPad的相關驅動程式也有安裝順序上的考量，以下的安裝流程其實已經把各環節都盡量考量進去，如網友沒有把握，不妨按照以下的順序安裝，感謝。

準備動作、設定SATA硬碟

自從T60/R60/X60開始改用SATA界面硬碟，手動安裝WinXP便遇到一個問題：「要選擇Compatibility還是AHCI模式？」，這問題的主因源自於設定為AHCI模式時，必須在安裝時按下「F6」，然後預先載入晶片組驅動程式。但現在擁有USB界面軟碟機的使用者實在太少了。

在沒有USB軟碟機的狀況下，有的使用者便設定成 「Compatibility模式」，卻發現硬碟效能不彰，接著去BIOS調回AHCI模式之後，就會發生藍底白字的系統當機慘劇。因此很多人想到要重裝WinXP就頭大。

但根據Lenovo原廠提供的資料，以及站長親身體驗，其實手動安裝WinXP並不困難！不需要準備USB軟碟機﹔不用忍受「Compatibility模式」效能不彰問題，更不會發生藍底白字慘劇，關鍵只在於「安裝流程的順序！」

請跟著本文的流程依序安裝，相信大家都能順利重返WinXP環境！

1.按下電源開關，開機時請按「F1」鍵，之後會進入BIOS畫面。

2.進入BIOS之後，進入「Config」頁面

3.再進入「Serial ATA(SATA)」頁面

4.將原先的「AHCI」改成「Compatibility」

換言之，站長手動安裝WinXP時，先採用「Compatibility模式」，規避掉需要透過USB軟碟機安裝驅動程式的困擾，然後在後面的「步驟三」請網友務必按照說明安裝Intel Matrix Storage Manager Driver，同時將硬碟更改為AHCI模式。

一、安裝Windows XP Service Pack 2

1.Windows XP Service Pack 2可以從微軟網站取得，或是透過WindowsUpdate下載，切記！如安裝的是繁體中文版Windows XP，務必安裝「「繁體中文版」的Service Pack！

2.安裝的檔名為「WindowsXP-KB835935-SP2-CHT.exe 」，下載存至硬碟後，雙擊執行之。

  • 壓縮檔會先解壓縮
  • 接著出現Windows XP Service Pack1安裝精靈 ，按「下一步」
    出現授權合約畫面。請在「我同意」方格上打勾，代表接受相關的授權合約。然後按「下一步」
  • 勾選「備份檔案」，然後按「下一步」
  • 此時Windows XP Service Pack安裝程式會檢視Windows XP的設定，並準備下載必要的檔案。需要花上一些時間，請稍後。
  • 安裝完成，請按「完成」以重新開機。

二、安裝Intel Chipset Support for Windows Vista, XP, 2000

1.可以從http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?lndocid=MIGR-67818下載。

2.所安裝的版本是8.2.0.1012版，2007/05/17發布。檔名為oss704ww.exe

  • 下載此檔於硬碟後，雙擊執行後，按「Next」
  • License Agreement畫面，選「I accept the terms in the license agreement」按「Next」
  • 檔案預設解壓縮路徑為「C:\DRIVERS\WIN\INTELINF」，如不想變更請直接按「Next」
  • 按「Finish」

3.到C:\DRIVERS\WIN\INTELINF，雙擊「infinst_autol.exe」

  • 出現安裝畫面「Intel晶片組裝置軟體」，按「下一步」
  • 授權合約畫面，按「是」
  • Readme畫面，按「下一步」
  • 接下來的畫面顯示將開始安裝驅動程式
  • 按「下一步」
  • 安裝完成後，選擇「是，我想現在重新啟動電腦」，按「完成」。

三、安裝Intel Matrix Storage Manager Driver for Windows 2000, XP, Vista (32bit)

1.可以從http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?lndocid=migr-62909下載。

2.所安裝的版本是7.0.0.1020版，2007/05/08發布。檔名為7kim06ww.exe

  • 下載此檔於硬碟後，雙擊執行後，按「Next」
  • License Agreement畫面，選「I accept the terms in the license agreement」按「Next」
  • 檔案預設解壓縮路徑為「C:\DRIVERS\WIN\IMSM」，如不想變更請直接按「Next」
  • 按「Finish」

3.到C:\DRIVERS\WIN\IMSM\PREPARE，雙擊「install.cmd」

  • 會快速出現DOS BOX安裝畫面，接著請將電腦「關機」。
  • 按下電源開關，開機時請按「F1」鍵，之後會進入BIOS畫面。
  • 進入BIOS之後，進入「Config」頁面
  • 再進入「Serial ATA(SATA)」頁面
  • 將原先的「Compatibility」改成「AHCI」
  • 按「F10」鍵存檔並離開BIOS，選「Yes」後重新開機
  • 進入WinXP之後，會出現「尋找新增硬體精靈」，點選「不，現在不要」，按「下一步」
  • 選擇「從清單或特定位置安裝(進階)」，按「下一步」
  • 先點選「在這些位置中搜尋最好的驅動程式」，然後勾選「搜尋時包括這個位置」，按下「瀏覽」鍵，將路徑指向「C:\DRIVERS\WIN\IMSM」，按「下一步」
  • 按「完成」
  • 如果系統顯示須安裝「BCM2045B」設備的驅動程式，先取消安裝。
  • 出現「系統設定變更」視窗，按「是」重新開機。

 

四、安裝Intel PRO/1000 LAN adapter software for Windows 2000, XP

1. 可以從http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?lndocid=MIGR-67829下載。

2.所安裝的版本是9.7.37.0版，2007/05/17發布。檔名為7kra14ww.exe

  • 下載此檔於硬碟後，雙擊執行後，按「Next」
  • License Agreement畫面，選「I accept the terms in the license agreement」按「Next」
  • 檔案預設解壓縮路徑為「C:\DRIVERS\WIN\ETHERNET」，如不想變更請直接按「Next」
  • 解壓縮完成後按「Finish」

3.在桌面上的「我的電腦」上按右鍵，選「內容」，請在「硬體」裡點選「裝置管理員」，請雙擊其中的「其他裝置」，展開後請雙擊「Ethernet控制卡」，會進入內容。

註：網友會發現有兩個「Ethernet控制卡」，請先試第二張，也就是下面的Ethernet控制卡，拒絕安裝的話再選另一個即可。

  • 在內容進入「驅動程式」頁，並點選「更新驅動程式」
  • 此時會出現硬體更新精靈，點選「不，現在不要」，按「下一步」
  • 選擇「從清單或特定位置安裝(進階)」，按「下一步」
  • 先點選「在這些位置中搜尋最好的驅動程式」，然後勾選「搜尋時包括這個位置」，按下「瀏覽」鍵，將路徑指向「C:\Drivers\WIN\Ethernet\PRO1000\Win32」，按「下一步」
  • 系統顯示找到「Intel(R) 82566M Gigabit Network Connection」，按「完成」
  • 關閉相關的畫面。

4.到「C:\DRIVERS\WIN\ETHERNET\APPS\PROSETDX\Win32」 裡，雙擊DxSetup.EXE

  • 出現歡迎畫面，按「下一步」
  • 授權合約畫面，選「我接受該授權合約中的條款」，按「下一步」
  • 選擇安裝類型，點選「驅動程式、Intel PROSet與進階網路服務」，按「下一步」
  • 按「安裝」
  • 安裝完成，請按「完成」

五、安裝Wireless LAN adapter software (ThinkPad 802.11bg, 802.11abg) for Windows 2000 and XP

註1：如果網友的ThinkPad內建的是 ThinkPad 802.11abgn wireless LAN ，請至此連結下載驅動程式。

註2：如果網友的ThinkPad內建的是 Intel 3945abg, 4965ag, and 4965agn，請至此連結下載驅動程式。

註3：如果網友並沒有使用WPA加密功能，原廠建議移除掉微軟先前發佈的兩個修正檔，分別是Q826942 (WPA Supplicant update in Windows XP )及 Q815485 (WPA Wireless Security Update in Windows XP)。網友可以到「控制台/新增及移除程式」中察看是否有安裝。

2.所安裝的版本是5.3.0.35版，2007/05/16發布。檔名為7rwc06ww.exe

  • 下載此檔於硬碟後，雙擊執行後，按「Next」

  • 檔案預設解壓縮路徑為「"C:\DRIVERS\WIN\WLLANATH」，如不想變更請直接按「Next」
  • 解壓縮完成後按「Finish」

3.到「C:\DRIVERS\WIN\WLLANATH」，雙擊「setup.exe」

  • 出現安裝畫面，按「下一步」
  • 選擇程式資料夾，預設名稱為「Wireless Configuration」，按「下一步」
  • 接下來的畫面顯示將開始安裝驅動程式
  • 安裝完成後，選擇「是，立即啟動電腦」，按「完成」，並且重新開機

六、安裝ThinkVantage Access Connections for Windows 2000 and XP (without wireless drivers)

1.可以從http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?lndocid=MIGR-4ZLNJB下載。

2.所安裝版本是4.41版，2007/05/21發佈，檔名為7mcn26ww.exe

  • 下載此檔於硬碟後，雙擊執行後，按「Next」
  • License Agreement畫面，選擇「I accept the terms in the license agreement」，按「Next」
  • 檔案預設解壓縮路徑為「C:\DRIVERS\W2K\ACCON」，如不想變更請直接按「Next」
  • 解壓縮完成，按「Finish」

3.到「C:\DRIVERS\W2K\ACCON」，雙擊「Setup.exe」

  • 出現歡迎畫面，按「下一步」
  • 預設安裝到「C:\Program Files\ThinkPad\ConnectUtilities」，請按「下一步」
  • 網友可視需求勾選「啟用Access Connections視窗登入使用者名稱及密碼功能」，預設是不勾選，按「下一步」
  • 按「下一步」
  • 安裝完成後，選擇「是，立即啟動電腦」，按「完成」，並且重新開機

七、安裝DirectX 9.0c End-User Runtime

1.可以從微軟網站上面下載。

2.使用者必須先從網站下載281 KB的先導安裝程式，然後再從網路下載完整的檔案。

2.安裝的檔名為「dxwebsetup.exe」，下載存至硬碟後，雙擊執行之。

  • 出現授權合約畫面，請在「我接受合約」方格上打勾，代表接受相關的授權合約。然後按「下一步」
  • 按「下一步」
  • 此時下載必要的檔案。需要花上一些時間，請稍後。
  • 安裝完成，請按「完成」並重新開機。

八、安裝Display (nVIDIA Quadro NVS 140M) driver for Windows XP, 2000

註：如果網友的ThinkPad內建的是GMA X3100整合型晶片組，請至「Display (Intel GL960, GM965) driver for Windows XP, 2000 」下載。

1.可以從http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?lndocid=MIGR-67924下載。

2.所安裝的版本是6.14.11.0133版，2007/05/31發布。檔名為7kd141ww.exe

  • 下載此檔於硬碟後，雙擊執行後，按「Next」
  • License Agreement畫面，選「I accept the terms in the license agreemen」按「Next」
  • 檔案預設解壓縮路徑為"C:\DRIVERS\WIN\DISPLAY"，如不想變更請直接按「Next」
  • 解壓縮完成後按「Finish」

3.到「C:\DRIVERS\WXP\DISPLAY」裡，雙擊「Setup.exe」

  • 出現歡迎畫面，按「Next」
  • License Agreement畫面，按「Yes」
  • 接下來的畫面顯示將開始安裝驅動程式
  • 安裝完成後，選擇「是，立即啟動電腦」，按「完成」，並且重新開機

九、安裝Monitor file for Windows 2000, XP, Vista

1.可以從http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?lndocid=MIGR-62923下載。

2.所安裝的版本是4.00版，2007/01/22發布。檔名為79oi05ww.exe

  • 下載此檔於硬碟後，雙擊執行後，按「Next」
  • License Agreement畫面，選「I accept the terms in the license agreement」按「Next」
  • 檔案預設解壓縮路徑為「C:\Drivers\WIN\MONITOR」，如不想變更請直接按「Next」
  • 按「Finish」

3.在桌面上按右鍵，選"內容"

  • 選「設定值」
  • 點選右下角的「進階」
  • 點選「監視器」後，進入「內容」
  • 選「驅動程式」
  • 點選「更新驅動程式」
  • 出現「軟體更新精靈」，點選「不，現在不要」，按「下一步」

2.所安裝的版本是20040219版，2006/08/15發布。檔名為kb888111xp2cht.exe(繁體中文版)

  • 下載此檔於硬碟後，雙擊執行後，按「Next」
  • License Agreement畫面，按「Agree」
  • 出現歡迎畫面，按「下一步」
  • 出現授權合約畫面，點選「我同意」後，按「下一步」

十七、安裝Bluetooth with Enhanced Data Rate Software for Windows XP, 2000

3.要開始安裝驅動程式前，請「務必」遵守以下幾點規則，以免安裝失敗!

  • 在安裝此版Bluetooth軟體前，移除掉先前功能舊版的Bluetooth軟體
  • Bluetooth軟體安裝時，「不要」任意碰觸鍵盤、TrackPoint、TouchPad。
  • 將ThinkPad的「無線硬體開關」打開，確認LCD下方藍芽標誌有亮。或是按下「Fn+F5」熱鍵，確定閉藍芽無線通訊功能已開啟

4.到「C:\DRIVERS\TPBTooth」裡，雙擊Setup.exe

  • 出現歡迎畫面，按「下一步」
  • 選擇「我接受該授權合約中的條款(A)」，按「下一步」
  • 預設安裝到「C:\Program Files\ThinkPad\Bluetooth Software」，請直接按「下一步」
  • 按「安裝」
  • 當「Driver Signature Notice 」畫面出現時，按「OK」
  • 稍待一會之後，按「完成」
  • 手動重新開機

十八、安裝IBM fingerprint reader software for Windows 2000, XP


1.由於原廠網站上尚未提供驅動程式下載，請先從本站下載5.6版。

  • 下載此檔於硬碟後，雙擊執行「setup.exe」後，按「Next」
  • License Agreement畫面，選「I accept the terms in the license agreement」按「Next」
  • 檔案預設解壓縮路徑為「C:\DRIVERS\WIN\FPS」，如不想變更請直接按「Next」

  • 在內容進入「驅動程式」頁，並點選「更新驅動程式」
  • 此時會出現硬體更新精靈，點選「不，現在不要」，按「下一步」
  • 選擇「從清單或特定位置安裝(進階)」，按「下一步」
  • 先點選「在這些位置中搜尋最好的驅動程式」，然後勾選「搜尋時包括這個位置」，按下「瀏覽」鍵，將路徑指向「C:\DRIVERS\WIN\TPM」，按「下一步」
  • 系統顯示找到「Atmel TPM」，按「完成」
  • 關閉相關的畫面。

註：安裝此套程式之後，使用者便能自行關閉方向鍵上方的兩個「Browser Keys」，避免在討論區發表文章時不慎按到「上一頁」導致辛苦鍵打的文章全沒了。選項位置在「Key Sensitivity」頁左下方。

二十五、安裝Access Help online User's Guide

1.目前網路上提供的Access Help都沒有繁體中文版。但是繁體中文版的Access Help其實就在ThinkPad 預載系統「C:\SWTOOLS\apps\」裡面。資料夾名稱為「ahlp」。所以網友務必自行備份！

2.如需安裝英文版的Access Help，程序如下：

  • 可以從http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?lndocid=MIGR-67828下載T61/R61版本。
  • 可以從http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?lndocid=MIGR-67949下載X61/X61s版本。

  • 所安裝的英文版本是2.01版，2007/05/17發佈，檔名為7kta06us.exe
    • 下載此檔於硬碟後，雙擊執行後，出現歡迎畫面，按「Next」
    • License Agreement畫面，點選「I accept the terms in the license agreement.」，然後按「Next」
    • 預設安裝到「C:\DRIVERS\WIN\AHLP」，請按「Next」
    • 按「Finish」

二十八、安裝PCMCIA Power Policy Registry Patch

1.由於原廠網站上尚未提供驅動程式下載，請先從本站下載。

以上為ThinkPad T61/R61/X61系統各項驅動程式的安裝流程，至於系統預載的各種應用程式皆放在「C:\SWTOOLS\apps\」裡面，這些程式使用者在自行安裝作業系統之前「務必自行備份」。

ThinkPad雖然預載90天期的防毒防駭軟體，如果網友不想繼續付費使用，不妨考慮下列兩套防毒與防駭的軟體，如果是個人非營利用途時，可免費註冊使用，且都有繁體中文介面版本。

X61 安装vista/XP双系统

折腾了三天，再花点时间写个摘要。
 
A) 硬盘重新分区
    1.按下電源開關，開機時請按「F1」鍵，之後會進入BIOS畫面。
    2.進入BIOS之後，進入「Config」頁面
    3.再進入「Serial ATA(SATA)」頁面
    4.將原先的「AHCI」改成「Compatibility」
B) XP安装光盘启动后, 删除原来的C:, 多分一个区出来，D:, 退出安装
 
C) 將「Compatibility」改成 「AHCI」
 
D) 蓝色键从隐藏分区恢复Vista 到C:
 
E) 將原先的「AHCI」改成「Compatibility」
 
F) XP安装光盘启动, 安装XP。 安装完XP后不能引导Vista和隐藏分区
 
G) 安裝Intel Chipset Support for Windows Vista, XP, 2000
    2.所安裝的版本是8.2.0.1012版，2007/05/17發布。檔名為oss704ww.exe
         下載此檔於硬碟後，雙擊執行後，按「Next」
         License Agreement畫面，選「I accept the terms in the license agreement」按「Next」
         檔案預設解壓縮路徑為「C:\DRIVERS\WIN\INTELINF」，如不想變更請直接按「Next」
        按「Finish」
    3.到C:\DRIVERS\WIN\INTELINF，雙擊「infinst_autol.exe」
      出現安裝畫面「Intel晶片組裝置軟體」，按「下一步」
      授權合約畫面，按「是」
      Readme畫面，按「下一步」
      接下來的畫面顯示將開始安裝驅動程式
      按「下一步」
      安裝完成後，選擇「是，我想現在重新啟動電腦」，按「完成」。
 
H) 安裝Intel Matrix Storage Manager Driver for Windows 2000, XP, Vista (32bit)
     2.所安裝的版本是7.0.0.1020版，2007/05/08發布。檔名為7kim06ww.exe
  •    下載此檔於硬碟後，雙擊執行後，按「Next」
  •    License Agreement畫面，選「I accept the terms in the license agreement」按「Next」  
  •   檔案預設解壓縮路徑為「C:\DRIVERS\WIN\IMSM」，如不想變更請直接按「Next」
  •   按「Finish」
  • 3.到C:\DRIVERS\WIN\IMSM\PREPARE，雙擊「install.cmd」
  • 會快速出現DOS BOX安裝畫面，接著請將電腦「關機」。
  • 按下電源開關，開機時請按「F1」鍵，之後會進入BIOS畫面。
  • 進入BIOS之後，進入「Config」頁面
  • 再進入「Serial ATA(SATA)」頁面
  • 將原先的「Compatibility」改成「AHCI」
  • 按「F10」鍵存檔並離開BIOS，選「Yes」後重新開機
  • 進入WinXP之後，會出現「尋找新增硬體精靈」，點選「不，現在不要」，按「下一步」
  • 選擇「從清單或特定位置安裝(進階)」，按「下一步」
  • 先點選「在這些位置中搜尋最好的驅動程式」，然後勾選「搜尋時包括這個位置」，按下「瀏覽」鍵，將路徑指向「C:\DRIVERS\WIN\IMSM」，按「下一步」
  • 按「完成」
  • 如果系統顯示須安裝「BCM2045B」設備的驅動程式，先取消安裝。
  • 出現「系統設定變更」視窗，按「是」重新開機。

I) 继续安装其他驱动  ，注意X61无线网卡为4965agn

J) 修改BCDEdit

    运行cmd, 进到C:\windows\system32

bcdedit –set {ntldr} device partition=C:
bcdedit –set {ntldr} path \ntldr
bcdedit –displayorder {ntldr} –addlast
bcdedit -set {ntldr} description "Microsoft Windows XP"

K) 下载Bootsect.exe到C:\

     运行cmd，进到C:\

c:\bootsect.exe /nt60 C:

L)   关机重启，进入vista.

start ->Computer->Properties->advanced->startup

设置启动菜单，延时30m

 到这里，搞定双启动菜单。隐藏分区还不能引导

M) 进vista，重新安装rescue and recovery 失败（C:\swtools\apps\rnr\tvrnr40.exe），说找不到windows recovery environment

 N) 把C:\program files\commom files\lenovo\bmgr拷出来 Bmgr32.exe、Bootmgr.bin 到D:\bmgr

到命令行里运行

d:\bmgr\bmgr32 /fbootmgr.bin /m2 /r

重启后按蓝色键，再按F11，立即修复引导。以后不用再按F11了
